⚠️ Important: Acetates require different handling than standard vinyl records.

Do not use alcohol-based cleaners or other cleaning products designed for standard vinyl. The lacquer coating of an acetate is far more fragile than pressed vinyl and can be permanently damaged by such agents.

To extend the lifespan of an acetate:

Avoid alcohol-based cleaners.
Always handle the record with care.
Play the record as infrequently as possible.
Store the record upright in a stable environment.
Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight.

Because acetate bootlegs are cut directly into a lacquer coating, they are among the most fragile audio media in the vinyl world. Proper maintenance is therefore essential to preserve their collector's value and sound quality.
